Michael Moshan’s career has never followed a single lane. From the start, he has pursued his professional and personal interests with equal seriousness and intention.

After earning his BA from Washington University in St. Louis in 1991 and his JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1995, Michael was admitted to the New York bar in 1996. He built his foundation in real estate law at Gold & Gold, PC, later becoming a partner at Gold Scollar Moshan, PLLC in 2006. In 2014, he launched his solo practice, Michael Moshan, Attorney at Law, PLLC, where he has focused almost exclusively on residential real estate for nearly two decades.

As a true solo practitioner, Michael handles every aspect of each transaction himself. He works directly with clients, bankers, brokers, managing agents, title professionals, and opposing counsel, ensuring clarity, accountability, and momentum. His ability to move quickly and decisively has made him a trusted resource for buyers and sellers across New York City and beyond, from first-time homeowners to high-net-worth and international clients. His experience also includes serving as corporate counsel to a major brokerage, managing a title agency, representing lenders, advising investors, participating in development projects, and acting as counsel to several co-op boards, primarily in the West Village. This breadth gives him a rare, full-circle view of real estate.

Outside the law, Michael is deeply immersed in tennis. He founded the McCarren Tennis Ladder in Brooklyn, running it from 2012 to 2017, and later co-founded the Westchester Tennis Ladders in 2020. What began as a solution to a fragmented tennis scene has grown into a community of more than 500 competitive players across multiple ladders. In July 2026, Michael will represent the United States on the men’s 55+ tennis team at the Maccabi Games in Israel.

Music has been a constant throughout his life. Michael has spent over four decades playing keyboards and singing in New York bands. In the late 1990s, he co-wrote and co-produced Rock the SAT, a McGraw-Hill published study guide that used original rock music to help students learn SAT vocabulary and went on to reach national bestseller lists. He has performed with numerous bands over the years, including Brother Josephus and the Love Revival, and continues to play keys and sing with his local band, Killer Mixtape. When timing allows, he also performs with the yacht-rock favorite, The Yacht Lobsters.

Michael lives in Irvington with his wife and their two boys. When he is not working, playing tennis, or making music, he enjoys movies, hiking with his dog Ziggy, good pizza, Chinese beef noodles, ramen, gardening, Premier League football with his kids, and remaining loyal to the Mets and Knicks. His life reflects a steady commitment to showing up fully, whether for his clients, his family, or the things that bring him joy.

This media site captures those intersections, offering a complete view of Michael Moshan as both a professional and a person.
